Kingston, New York & wherever you take us

For the moments
you'll want back.

The voices you love. The way it all felt.
Wedding films that bring you right back.

PERSONAL FILMS. A NATURAL APPROACH.

Your people.
Your kind of day.

I'm Liam, the filmmaker behind Far & Found Films. Based in Kingston, New York, I create personal, cinematic wedding films across the Hudson Valley, Catskills and New York City.

You get to be yourselves. I'll pay attention to the little things, record the words that matter, and make a film that feels like your day.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE FILM

Hi, I'm Liam.
I'll be the one filming.

You'll spend a lot of your wedding day with me. You should feel comfortable being yourself.

I started photographing weddings in 2017. Years behind a camera taught me when to step in, when to hang back, and how to work alongside your photographer.

Kingston is home. When I'm not filming, I'm usually with my kids or out hiking with my partner. The Shawangunks are my favorite place to get outside.

THE EXPERIENCE

A day to live.
A film to keep.

You get to enjoy your wedding. I stay close to the moments that matter.

01

Say hello.

Tell me about your day. I'll reply within 48 hours with my availability, and we'll set up a short call to get to know each other. No pressure, no hard sell.

02

Make it official.

A simple agreement and a retainer hold your date. From then on you have a filmmaker in your corner, and you can reach out with questions anytime.

03

A plan before the day.

About a month out we walk through your timeline, your people and the moments you most want to remember. I coordinate with your planner and photographer, so there's one plan, not three.

04

Space to be yourselves.

On the day I work quietly and stay out of the way. No staged moments, no asking you to do things twice. You get to be present with your people, and I catch what happens.

05

Something to come back to.

Your films arrive in a private online gallery to watch, download and share, within eight weeks (six for The Cinema). Feature and Cinema couples get a sneak peek within two weeks.

BEFORE YOU ASK

A few good questions.

How long until we get the films?

The Highlight and The Feature are delivered within 8 weeks. The Cinema is delivered within 6 weeks. The Feature and The Cinema include a 60-second trailer within 2 weeks.

Do you travel?

Yes. Travel within the Hudson Valley and the Catskills is included. New York City and beyond is quoted per wedding.

How do you handle the audio?

Every voice that matters gets its own microphone: a lav on whoever is saying vows, a recorder on the officiant, a feed from the DJ or band for the toasts. It's the reason the films sound the way they do.

How do we hold a date?

A signed agreement and a retainer hold your date. Dates are first come, first served.
